KarachiPlus offers hosting plans on both Linux and Windows® platforms. Our Linux hosting plans run Apache Web server software. Our Windows Advanced Servers run Microsoft® IIS (Internet Information Services).

 

If you are viewing this page, then you have all that is required to take advantage of KarachiPlus's services—a computer with an Internet connection. To get your site up and running, you will also need some basic software for creating a Web site (HTML editor) and some method of transferring your Web site to the server (FTP client).

 

These features are specific to Microsoft Windows and are supported through our Windows Web hosting options.

KarachiPlus will install the necessary server extensions for you to use FrontPage® and is happy to answer your questions related to the use of these extensions. FrontPage extensions are needed to enable you to publish your site with FrontPage and to run additional tools supported by FrontPage, such as WebBots, ToDo Lists and the FrontPage Explorer interface.

KarachiPlus does not support problems or questions directly related to the use of FrontPage itself. Instead, we will direct you to Microsoft's FrontPage technical support. KarachiPlus supports FrontPage version 2002.

KarachiPlus's minimum server configuration is a Dual Intel® Pentium® III machine with Ultrawide SCSI HDD. Unlike many of our competitors who employ inexpensive IDE drives, our Ultrawide SCSI hard drives ensure superior server performance and reliability. Servers are equipped with RAID 1 and have a minimum of 1024 MB RAM.

 

KarachiPlus's Linux platforms provide support for MySQL. MySQL is free with Gold Plans and above. KarachiPlus's Windows platforms support Microsoft Access databases, which are free with  Plans and above. Microsoft SQL Server is supported with our Windows Platinum Plans.
